Queensmead Auto Services Ltd, a family owned and run company, was started in 1994 by Claire’s parents. Upon achieving a First-Class Honours Degree, Claire became actively involved in the business taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations. Her passion for delivering high-quality results combined with her problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement has supported the Company’s ongoing success. Claire takes great pride in building a company structure whose foundations are based on creating strong and dependable connections with both clients and team members alike, evidenced with some client and staff relationships spanning over 20 years.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys reading a good book, is a trustee of a local animal charity and losing an occasional hour on social media!

James began his career working for a video editing company in London producing music videos before progressing to Chief Production Operative at Sony Entertainment.

Following a year out to travel across Australasia with his now wife, Claire, James transitioned into the supply chain industry and, in 2002, joined Queensmead.

James has extensive logistical experience and together with his invaluable insight across multiple areas of the vehicle logistics business and unwavering dedication to Queensmead’s client base, he is at the heart of the Company’s operation and the confident face of Queensmead.

Loyal to both his office and driving team, James and his team are committed to maintaining high standards, ensuring all vehicle movements adhere to strict operational guidelines while consistently striving to deliver excellent client and customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, James enjoys watching football and rugby, spending time with family and friends and being walked by his German Shepherd!

Clive began his career at Augustus Barnett Wine Merchants before moving into the retail sector, where he worked as a Store Manager for Argos. His strong performance led to a promotion to the Argos Head Office in Milton Keynes, where he was responsible for researching and developing new store locations across the group. In 2001, Clive joined Queensmead, completing driving duties, driver assessments and overseeing driver quality control. Clive’s role within the Company evolved to include logistics planning, financial administration and business development. Clive is a highly regarded member of the team bringing valuable experience and a proactive approach to the business, dedicated to delivering great results and supporting both clients and colleagues every step of the way.

Outside of work, Clive enjoys fine wine and can often be found relaxing on a luxury international cruise!

Chris began his career in the banking sector, spending 25 years with Lloyds Bank, where he progressed through the company to become a Foreign Trade Sales Manager.

In 2014, Chris joined Queensmead as a Logistics Planner and Administrator and during his time with the company, Chris has built strong, lasting relationships with clients and works tirelessly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. His dedication and attention to detail make him a key part of the Company’s ongoing success. Known for his positive attitude and commitment to going the extra mile, Chris is an important part of our team, working closely with clients and colleagues to ensure the successful completion of complex and efficient logistic schedules.

Outside of work, Chis enjoys playing golf and is a legendary quiz master!

Following a successful career with Barclays Bank that spanned 17 years, Philip decided to take a career change and became a Computer Engineer. Alongside his working commitments, Philip also volunteered as a Scout Leader for a local scout group.

In 2019, Philip joined Queensmead as an Administrator and Fleet Vehicle Delivery Planner and over the years his role within the Company has extended to include completing driving assignments, assisting with driver quality control and performing recruitment assessments. A dependable team player, Philip consistently and reliably provides assistance and guidance to those he works with. Combined with his calm and patient demeanour, Philip is well equipped to handle the wide array of challenges inherent in vehicle logistics and his contribution to Queensmead is greatly valued.

Outside of work, Philip likes to relax by playing golf, fishing, home DIY and enjoying well planned holidays!

Tom spent much of his career working for the News International Group culminating in holding the position of Finance Director (Commercial and Editorial).

Tom joined Queensmead in 2020 completing driving duties and progressing on to provide dedicated Client site support. Focused on operational efficiency and effectivity, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience when providing Queensmead with logistical planning and new business support. A strategic thinker able to adapt in a fast-paced environment, Tom is very well regarded and an important asset to the Queensmead team.

Outside of work, Tom likes to attend concerts listening to the great (and not so great) music from the 80’s!

Andrew joined Lloyds Bank after finishing his A Levels and progressed through the Company to become Financial Real Estate Director for the Corporate Sector. Alongside working for Lloyds, Andrew was also a professional football league linesman in the Premier League. Andrew joined Queensmead in 2024 as Logistics Planner and Administrator and despite being the newest office member, has quickly become an instrumental part of the team. From overseeing the roll out of new E-pods, to completing daily work schedules, supporting our driving team, finding solutions, providing ongoing assistance to our Clients’ every need, Andrew consistently contributes to a positive and productive work environment.

Outside of work, Andrew has combined his enjoyment of travelling and cycling by completing many charitable cycle rides throughout Europe, helping to raise over £500,000!
